Not sure where to start, Clear Start provide non judgmental, free review on every individual situation with clear direction on what the options are. You're not alone — and you’re not out of options.

Many homeowners face financial stress at some point in their lives. Whether it's due to job loss, unexpected expenses, illness, or changes in circumstances, falling behind on mortgage payments can happen to anyone. When lenders begin legal proceedings, it can feel overwhelming — even paralysing.

At Clear Start Property, we understand how stressful and uncertain this time can be. That’s why we take a compassionate, solutions-focused approach to help you regain control and clarity. From the very first step, we work with you — and for you — to speak directly with your lender and create a path forward that puts your well being first.

What is a Housing Improvement Act (HIA) Notice?

A Housing Improvement Act Notice (HIA Notice) is an official letter issued by your local council or housing authority. It lets you know about areas in your property that need attention to meet safety, health, and habitability standards.

These notices may highlight issues such as:

  • Health and safety concerns

  • Structural repairs

  • Sanitation or maintenance needs

Receiving an HIA Notice means improvements are needed to comply with legal standards. These notices are time sensitive, with deadlines to respond or to action. Acting promptly helps you avoid penalties and keeps your home safe.

I have always had a keen interest in property and worked in several fields within the industry including land development, residential and commercial construction but what really interests me is the Aussie battler spirit and helping home owners seek the best outcome from is a significantly stressful time.

I bring clarity and become the link between homeowner and lender, insurance broker or council to find amicable solution for an agreeable outcome. I take the stress and the hassle away and give you peace of mind to move forward and have a clear start.
